A sacred cultural landscape where earth and memories merge as one.


The sun had already set, turning the sky into a perfect gradient of orange fading into the dark navy of the night. A few stars were already shining, and the big red rock stood alone in the middle of the flat horizon.


I pulled my gear out of the bag, soaked both ends in white gas, and lit them. I took a few steps into the desert and rolled the pole between my hands, launching a massive fireball into the sky. The sharp smell of gasoline hit my nostrils, and the warmth of the fire brushed against my face.


I began to move my bare feet through the hot sand, dancing with the fire, surrounded by its heat and the crackling sound of the flames...
