Old Man

My old man is a curious one. He’s 62, but he isn’t old. A young soul. He’s never had the chance to travel outside of Europe before, so Peru is a distant and fascinating destination for him. You can see it in every moment of our journey.

His favourite thing is watching the world pass by through the windows of planes, trains, and buses. When the glass fogs up in the early morning, he wipes it clean every few minutes to make sure the view is always clear.

I wonder what’s going through his mind.
